Aptamers are small pieces of engineered DNA. My husband is a scientist who designs and uses aptamers as a detection technology at the molecular level.
Unfortunately, the impact of COVID-19 on the biotech company he was working for in Cincinnati, aka the Queen City, resulted in the business closing its doors. We’ve now been blessed with the opportunity to relocate to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. My husband will continue his work with aptamers and even apply the technology to detecting COVID-19.
